Hotel Overview

The 4 star Zanzibar Bay Resort was built in 2019 and is located directly on the beach at Marumbi on Zanzibar’s east coast. The resort shares facilities with Paradise Beach Resort.

Highlights include two large infinity pools, one with a tropical island and pool bar and the other offers a suitable depth for diving courses, and then there is the magical jetty stretching out into the Indian Ocean with a bar at the end.

ACCOMMODATION
The resort’s 104 rooms are divided into 4 different categories. 
 
22 Standard Rooms (Size 44m2)
This entry level room is situated on the ground floor and has a garden or pool view.
 
64 Luxury Rooms (Size 51m2)
The Luxury Rooms are located on the ground, first and second floors with pool, garden or ocean views.
 
16 Premium Rooms (Size 60m2)
The rooms are located on the ground floor and first floors with views over the pool and the ocean.
 
2 Premium Plus Rooms (Size 95m2)
These rooms, situated closest to the beach,  have a private lounge area with sunbeds and shade just a stone’s throw from the water and guests can enjoy breathtaking sunrise views across the ocean.

In addition to the main buffet restaurant, the resort has 2 a la carte restaurants which form part of the all inclusive package – prior reservations are required. There is also a minimarket with a coffee and smoothie bar.
