A direct flight from Johannesburg takes approximately four hours. The journey from Cape Town takes about five hours. Travellers departing from other South African cities will usually connect through Johannesburg or Cape Town.
International flights arrive at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU) in the southeast of Mauritius. Transfers to most resorts take around 60–90 minutes, depending on location and traffic. Resorts on the east and south-east are generally closest, while resorts in the north, west and south-west can take longer to reach.
