Hotel Overview

This 4 star, adults only resort has 74 villas located along the Matemwe beachfront on the north east coast with a panoramic view of Mnemba Island and in front of one of the island’s best snorkelling spots. The design with its open, light-filled spaces is rooted in nature and tradition and highlights local craftmanship. Each villa has direct pool access or a private pool and a seamless connection to the outdoors.

24 Swim-up Villas (Size 74m2)
These villas are a 5 minute walk from the beach and have direct access to a shared infinity pool. They also have an outdoor shower.
 
22 Deluxe Villas (Size 78m2)
Each villa has its own private pool and a view of the tropical canopy. Bathrooms are fitted with a double walk-in shower. The villas are a 5 minute walk from the beach.
 
8 Deluxe Villas Partial Sea View (Size 78m2)
These Deluxe villas enjoy a partial sea view.
 
12 Seafront Villas (Size 101m2)
The Seafront Villas provide a panoramic view and are just a 1 minute walk from the beach.  All have a private pool and an outdoor shower.
 
8 Beachfront Villas (Size 101m2)
The villas face the turquoise ocean which is just a few steps away. Highlights include the panoramic view, the private pool and a reserved beach spot with two deckchairs and a straw hat.

The resort’s main restaurant will feature a buffet menu, inspired by the flavours of the world and will also feature local specialities.
 
Beach Restaurant
The Beach Restaurant will offer a table d’hote menu with a barbecue that’s 100% local to give guests a taste of Zanzibar.
 
The Pool Bar
A great spot between the pool and the ocean for cocktails, long drinks and gourmet snacks any time of the day.
 
The Lounge Bar
The bar is perfect for arrival and departure drinks….. and every moment in between
 
The Beach Shack
There is no formal seating area – service is on sunbeds and coffee tables only serving drinks from 10h00 to 18h00 and wood fired pizzas at lunchtime to enjoy right from your sun lounger.
