Star ratings do not tell the full story, so compare the location, beach, meal plan and included activities as well.
Half-board normally includes breakfast and dinner, leaving you free to eat out or buy lunch during the day. All-inclusive usually covers breakfast, lunch, dinner and selected drinks, but the exact inclusions differ between resorts. All-inclusive can provide better value if you plan to spend most of your time at the hotel. Half-board may suit you better if you want to take day trips and visit local restaurants.
Do not compare Mauritius packages on price alone. Check the number of nights, travel dates, room category, meal plan, flights, baggage, transfers, taxes and current special offers. Also look for booking deadlines, child policies, honeymoon benefits and possible seasonal surcharges. A lower price may include fewer nights, a basic room or fewer meals.
